How you coach

There are no trick questions here — we're looking for alignment with our coaching standard, not perfect answers.

Why do you want to coach for our league? A player makes the same mistake three games in a row. What do you do? Your team is losing badly and parents are getting loud. How do you handle the dugout? What should a 10-year-old feel walking away from your practice? Two references (name & phone)

Screening & commitments

I consent to a league-paid background check, required every season I will complete athlete-protection and coaching-standards training before my first practice I have read the coaching standard and agree to be held to it — including never coaching through fear I understand every rostered player gets meaningful innings in every game

We reply to every application within a week — usually with an invitation to talk.

Teachers first — you'd rather build confidence than break it

Steady under pressure, with kids and with parents

Willing to be trained and held to a written standard

Softball knowledge helps; character is non-negotiable
